Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit landed in a a ‘Maggi soup’ for the noodle after the Haridwar Food and Drug Administration on May 29 served notice to her on the claims made in the television advertisement.
The actress has been asked to reply within 15 days on claims made in the advertisement. The main issue centres around the nutrition value of the ‘2-minute noodles’, according to the Haridwar Food and Drug Administration.
Maggi is under the scanner after samples collected by the Uttar Pradesh Food Safety and Drug Administration found excess of Mono Sodium Glutamate and lead.
