Complaint against Vodafone India — Process for Name Change – Unclear instructions
I had taken the connection in my maiden name and wanted to change it to my married name. I contacted the online support desk to check if they could do it for me or if they could help in some way.
So they came back saying they couldn’t change my name online but I would need to go to a store for that. I asked what documents would be needed and the executive replied the PAN and AADHAR would suffice.
Upon visiting the store and waiting for nearly 30 mins the executive there told me that I needed to furnish my original marriage certificate. I asked if I could mail it and he said no. I didn’t have a hard copy so my trip there was a total waste of time and money. when I asked why the online chat executive hadn’t told em that he seemed like he had no clue or care in the world.
there needs to be a clear set of instructions that these people need to give when they are asked queries otherwise this whole concept of customer care / service is just pointless.
